January 2nd, 2011Was upgrading the software I use for this site and couldn’t access some parts.. the latest backup was prior to some of the newer site updates.. I will find the photos and update the info for things which have happened with the car since September of 2010
New SC2
December 10th, 2010Traded the 2000 SC1 for a 2001 SC2. Went from base model SOHC with automatic transmission, crank windows, manual locks to fully loaded DOHC/manual with all options, leather, and a sunroof.
Took some work to get it roadworthy.. new headlight, wheel bearings, air filter, plugs, wires, mount, and a couple of sensors but minimal investment compared to the book and personal value of the final product.
No More SC1
December 1st, 2010Parted ways with my faithful 2000 SC1. It was a great car as far as time I had to spend working on it versus the time spent driving it.. I put a ton of miles on and only ever replaced a water pump, belt, and wheel bearing aside from routing maintenance.
